1 Administration
The Administration Coordinating Committee provides the administrative skills necessary to sustain the mission and continued growth of the parish community and its buildings and grounds.
100 Audit Committee
Conducts a yearly internal audit. All members are appointed by the pastor.
101 Kroger Community Rewards

102 Golf Scramble
Fundraising project in the fall that supports the financial needs of the parish and encourages parish and community involvement. Help needed: Golf Scramble committee to help coordinate, organize and recruit sponsors and participants.
103 Taste of St. Francis Xavier
Annual parish fundraiser held in January that supports the financial needs of the parish and encourages parish and community involvement.
104 Fundraising Committee
St. Francis Xavier Fundraising Committee is a group of volunteers who identify, plan and coordinate various parish activities to raise money in support of the various parish ministries.
105 Community Garden
The garden team is made up of families, singles, young and old alike! The work is from spring through fall. The garden is located beside the garage on ST. Francis Xavier’s campus.
106 Buildings and Grounds
Provides assistance in the maintenance and repair of the buildings and grounds of the parish. Performs renovation and construction projects that fit within the capabilities of the volunteers.
107 Cemetery Maintenance
Volunteers willing to assist with mowing and trimming of the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
108 Office Volunteers
Provides assistance to the Parish Office staff.
109 Parish Web Site
Parish internet web site that contains a variety of informaion about our community of faith.
110 Planned Giving
Planned giving allows your generosity and support of St. Francis Xavier Church by making a provision in your will naming our parish. For people of faith, estate and financial planning is a key component of stewardship.
111 Newsletter Committee
Prepares a quarterly newsletter that is mailed to every registered family and posted on-line to parish websites.
2 Lifelong Formation/Education
The Lifelong Formation / Education Coordinating Committee is dedicated to providing life-long Catholic religious education and faith enrichment opportunities for our parish community.
200 Adult Faith Formation
Provides opportunities for adults to enrich and grow in their faith, spirituality and relationships through Bible Studies, small group faith sharing, reflection days as well as retreats, resource materials, speakers and other forums.
201 RCIA
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is designed to initiate people into the Catholic faith.
202 Religious Education
Provides religious education to students grades K-8 and prepares students for Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation.
203 Children's Church
Children’s Church is offered for children in grades K- third grade during the 9:00am mass.
204 Teens Gathered in Faith
T.G.I.F is for high school teens and college aged adults who meet 9 times in the fall and 10 times in the winter/spring for reflection and support through small groups.
205 Vacation Bible School
A fun, faith filled one-week summer VBS held in June for children entering kindergarten through 5th grade.
206 Middle School Ministry
This ministry provides opportunities for the 6th, 7th and 8th graders and their parents to build community outside the classroom.
207 Baptismal Prep Program
Couples or individuals interested in training to become part of Baptism Preparation Team.
208 Sponsor Couple Program (marriage)
Married couples assist in preparation of engaged couples for marriage.
209 Respect Life
The Respect Life Committee is committed to actively promoting a renewed respect for human life from conception to natural death through prayer, action and involvement.
210 Women's Retreat Team
Plans and organizes a yearly retreat for women. Various roles are needed: food, decorations, publicity, musicians, speakers, leaders and shopping for supplies.
211 Men's Retreat
The Men's Retreat is scheduled for March 2016.
3 Parish Life
The Parish Life Coordinating Committee addresses the social needs of our parish and provides ministry to families, the sick, the elderly, those with special needs.
300 Family Ministry
Provides parish-wide social opportunities for families of our parish. Current events include monthly Donut Fellowships.
301 Generations of Faith, Family, Friends
An integrated and comprehensive approach to faith formation that allows the parish to become a community of learning by offering events centered on church life.
302 JOY (Just Older Youth)
This Senior Citizens/Retirees social club for those aged 50 and older gathers the first Tuesday of the month in the Parish Hall for a meeting and a potluck luncheon from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m
303 Picnic Committee
The St. Francis Xavier Summer Picnic is the one of the largest fundraisers for the parish and occurs annually the second weekend in June.
304 Rosary Makers
Members make and repair rosaries, teach others how to make rosaries, and send rosaries to missions.
305 Women's Club
The St. Francis Xavier Women's Club motto - Serving Christ Through Good Works - and having fun doing it - says what we are about.
306 Community Ministries
Interfaith organization of eleven area churches serving various needs of poor individuals or families residing within the Mt. Washington community.
307 Nursing Home Ministry
Visit residents at Green Meadows Nursing Home. Visits include prayer and visiting with the residents who are lonely and do not have regular visits from any family members.
308 St. Vincent de Paul Society
Provides spiritual and material assistance to those in need who are parishioners or others, while striving to help them to help themselves.
4 Worship
The Worship Coordinating Committee is an umbrella for a variety of ministries. All subcommittees attend to a particular sacramental or liturgical need within the parish community.
400 Altar Servers/Acolytes
Assists the presider in liturgical celebrations. Training is provided.
401 Altar Society
This group dresses the altar seasonally, cares for the linens and vestments, washing, ironing, and repairing articles as needed, and cares for the candles, candle stands, and other sacramentals like the holy water fonts. Training provided.
402 Art and Environment
Committee that plans, designs, arranges and cares for the liturgical environment of the worship space and surrounding grounds.
403 Church Cleaning Crews
Teams who clean our worship space weekly. Work includes light dusting, vacuuming, etc.
404 Exposition of the Eucharist
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament begins at 9:00 a.m.-12 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month.
405 Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist
Ministers distribute communion at weekend, daily, Holy Day, and funeral Masses and/or take communion to those who are homebound, in nursing homes, or at assisted living facilities.
406 Funeral Ministry
This group assists the staff with funeral home vigil services, funeral Masses and a post funeral meal.
407 Bereavement Meal
Needed are people willing to assist with a post funeral meal provided for grieving families and friends.
408 Gift Bearers
Bring forth the gifts of bread and wine during liturgy celebrations
409 Ministers of Hospitality (Ushers)
This minister acts as host or hostess on behalf of the parish by meeting those attending worship services with a warm and genuine welcome.
410 Ministers of the Word (Readers)
Proclaim the Word of God for the assembly at Masses and special liturgies.
411 St. Francis Xavier Adult Choir
High School Age children through adults are invited to participate in this choir.
412 St. Francis Youth Choir
Singers in grades 2-12 are invited to participate in this choir. Rehearsal is held during the school calendar year every other Wednesday evening from 6:00-6:45 (before R.E. class). This group will sing one-two Masses a month.
413 Cantor Training
Designed to teach and train those who are interested in leading the congregation at any mass in a fun way. This will be held on a rotating basis and will meet four times over the course of a month.
414 Instrumentalists
Trained instrumentalists, who are interested in providing music at any of the liturgies or other celebrations, please contact the director.
415 Private Voice
Private vocal lessons are offered at St. Francis Xavier by Carrie Gary, Director of Music. This is open to persons of any age or ability!
416 Prayer Tree
Members offer private prayer for those who have special prayer requests.

501 Cub Scouts/Boy Scouts
St. Francis Xavier is the charter organization for Pack #776. The pack/troop meets in the Religious Education Building on Thursday evenings.
501 Knights of Columbus
A Catholic men's fraternal organization devoted to the Catholic Church and the local community. Many activities are offered that provide members a way to serve the family, the parish, the local community, and the global Catholic Church.
502 American Red Cross
Every third month on Sunday from 8-12 in the parish hall. Volunteers needed to sign people in and promote blood drive.
